Bubbles — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to your access to and use of Bubbles, including our mobile application, website, services, features, user profiles, messaging tools, groups, public wall features, image and video features, subscriptions, and any related services we provide.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Bubbles. By creating an account, accessing the app, or using any part of Bubbles, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Bubbles.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, and any subscription or payment terms. These documents form part of your agreement with us.
1. About Bubbles
Bubbles is operated by Koosk Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17515102, whose registered office is at Clarence House, Clarence Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 2LA. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Koosk Media Limited.
Bubbles is a mobile application that allows users to create profiles, interact with other users, upload profile content, share images and videos, communicate, join or create groups, use public community features, and access other services made available through the app.
We may update, change, suspend, or remove parts of the app from time to time, including features, layouts, tools, subscriptions, pricing, or availability.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Bubbles. This requirement is enforced at registration: you must provide your date of birth, and an account cannot be created for anyone under 18.
By using Bubbles, you confirm that:
- you are 18 years of age or older;
- you can legally enter into these Terms;
- the information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
- you are not prohibited from using the app under any applicable law;
- you will use the app only for lawful, personal purposes;
- you will follow these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and any safety rules we publish.
We may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts where we believe a user is underage, has provided false information, has created a fake account, or has breached these Terms.
3. Account Registration
To use Bubbles, you may need to create an account and provide information needed to operate your profile and app features.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate and up-to-date account information;
- keeping your login details secure;
- not sharing your account with anyone else;
- all activity that happens under your account;
- notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or remove accounts where we reasonably believe there is a security, safety, fraud, legal, or policy risk.
4. Profile Information and User Content
Depending on the features you use, your profile or account may include:
- name or display name;
- age or date of birth;
- gender, preferences, or profile settings;
- location information you choose to provide or enable;
- profile description, interests, and personal details you choose to add;
- images and videos;
- external links you choose to provide;
- public wall posts, comments, reactions, and group content;
- messages or communications sent through app features;
- subscription or account status;
- support requests, reports, and moderation records.
You are responsible for the information, content, images, videos, links, messages, and other material you upload, post, send, display, or share through Bubbles.
5. User Content Licence
You own the content you create and upload to Bubbles, subject to any rights owned by other people.
By uploading, posting, sending, or sharing content through Bubbles, you give us a limited licence to host, store, copy, resize, process, display, transmit, and make that content available as needed to operate, maintain, moderate, secure, and improve Bubbles.
This licence allows us to provide the app and its features. It does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
You confirm that you have the right to upload or share any content you provide, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Public Areas and Visibility
Some areas of Bubbles may be visible to other users. These may include profile information, profile images, profile videos, public wall posts, public comments, group content, reactions, and other content you choose to make visible.
You should not post anything publicly that you do not want other users to see, save, discuss, report, screenshot, record, or share outside the app.
We may provide privacy settings, visibility tools, blocking tools, and reporting tools, but we cannot guarantee that other users will not copy, screenshot, record, or misuse content they are able to view.
7. Images, Videos and External Links
Bubbles may allow you to upload images, videos, and other media, and may allow you to add links to external platforms, including TikTok and YouTube.
You must not upload, post, share, or link to content that:
- you do not own or do not have permission to use;
- infringes copyright, trade marks, privacy rights, image rights, or other legal rights;
- is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, hateful, exploitative, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, violent, fraudulent, or misleading;
- contains malware, phishing, scams, unsafe links, or harmful code;
- exposes another person's private information without consent;
- breaches these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
We may remove or restrict content or links that breach these Terms, create safety risks, or may expose users or Bubbles to legal, regulatory, reputational, or security risk.
8. External Platforms and Third-Party Links
Bubbles may allow users to add or share external links, including links to TikTok, YouTube, or other third-party websites, apps, or services.
Bubbles does not give TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, X, Snapchat, or any other social media platform access to your Bubbles account, profile data, private account information, images, videos, messages, or user data.
Adding a third-party link to your Bubbles profile or content does not give that third-party platform access to Bubbles user data.
However, if you choose to tap, open, follow, connect with, watch, upload to, or interact with a third-party link, platform, website, or app outside Bubbles, your activity may be governed by that third party's own terms, privacy policy, cookies, tracking technologies, and data practices.
We are not responsible for:
- third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services;
- their content, privacy practices, cookies, tracking, or advertising;
- any account you hold with them;
- anything that happens after you leave Bubbles or interact with an external link.
You should review the relevant third-party terms and privacy policies before using those services.
9. No Sale of User Data
We do not sell users' personal data to third-party companies.
We do not provide external companies with direct access to users' profile data, images, videos, messages, private account information, or device data for their own independent marketing purposes.
We do not allow third-party apps, including social media apps, to access Bubbles user data.
Further details about what data we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and who it may be shared with are set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Device Data and Permissions
We do not collect unnecessary data from users' devices.
Bubbles may request device permissions only where needed for app features you choose to use. These permissions may include:
- camera access, if you choose to take or upload images or videos;
- microphone access, if you choose to record video or use audio/video features;
- photo or media library access, if you choose to upload media;
- notification permissions, if you choose to receive notifications;
- location permissions, if you choose to use location-based features.
We do not use device permissions to collect unrelated personal data from your device.
You can usually control device permissions through your device settings.
More information about device permissions and data use is provided in our Privacy Policy.
11. Marketing Within Bubbles
Any marketing, promotional content, sponsored content, or recommendations targeted to users within Bubbles will be based on activity within Bubbles.
Marketing may be based on in-app activity such as:
- Public Bubbles Wall activity;
- public posts, comments, likes, reactions, or interactions;
- group or community activity within the app;
- public feature engagement;
- user-selected interests or preferences within Bubbles;
- subscription or feature usage within Bubbles.
We do not use private device data from users' own devices to target marketing.
We do not use unrelated phone data, external social media data, private device data, or third-party app data to target marketing within Bubbles.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate choices and controls over marketing communications.
More detail about marketing and data use is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Privacy Policy
Some matters referred to in these Terms are explained in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- what personal data we collect;
- why we collect it;
- how we use it;
- how long we keep it;
- who we share it with;
- how users can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of their data;
- how users can contact us about privacy or data protection matters.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy about how personal data is used, the Privacy Policy will apply to that privacy-specific issue.
13. Community Rules and Prohibited Behaviour
You must use Bubbles respectfully, safely, and lawfully.
You must not use Bubbles to:
- harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, abuse, exploit, or shame anyone;
- impersonate another person or create a fake or misleading account;
- scam, defraud, deceive, manipulate, or mislead users;
- post illegal, hateful, violent, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, abusive, or harmful content;
- share another person's intimate or private content without their consent;
- target, exploit, or endanger vulnerable people;
- promote self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, violence, illegal activity, or dangerous behaviour;
- send spam, chain messages, scams, phishing attempts, malware, or unsafe links;
- collect, scrape, harvest, or misuse user data;
- upload content you do not own or have permission to use;
- share another person's private information without consent;
- use bots, scripts, automation, fake engagement, or scraping tools without permission;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, damage, or disrupt the app;
- attempt to bypass security, moderation, subscriptions, or access controls;
- promote goods, services, advertising, or commercial activity without permission;
- breach these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, ban users, preserve evidence, or take other action where we believe these rules have been breached.
Adult Content, Pornography and Sexual Services — Strictly Prohibited
Bubbles operates an 18+ dating and social platform. Although the platform is intended for adults, it is not an adult entertainment service and must not be used to create, upload, share, request, promote, sell or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit content.
The following activities and content are strictly prohibited throughout Bubbles, including profiles, profile photos and videos, public wall posts, comments, groups, group feeds, group chats, group events, private messages, voice notes, photos, videos, links and video calls:
- 1. Pornographic and sexually explicit material: Uploading, displaying, sending, requesting or distributing pornographic images, videos, animations, illustrations, sexually explicit audio or other material depicting or describing explicit sexual activity for sexual gratification.
- 2. Explicit nudity and sexual exposure: Sharing images or videos depicting exposed genitals, explicit sexual nudity or sexual activity, or deliberately exposing oneself to another user through photographs, videos or live video calls.
- 3. Sexual solicitation and adult services: Offering, requesting, arranging, advertising or facilitating prostitution, escort services, paid sexual encounters, adult live chat, sexual performances or other commercial sexual services.
- 4. Sale or promotion of adult content: Advertising, selling, exchanging or directing users to paid or free pornography, sexually explicit subscriptions, adult-content creator accounts or external adult entertainment services.
- 5. Unsolicited sexual material and harassment: Sending unwanted sexually explicit messages, images or videos; pressuring another user to participate in sexual activity; or repeatedly requesting intimate images after a user has declined.
- 6. Non-consensual intimate imagery: Creating, uploading, sharing or threatening to share intimate images or videos of another person without their consent, including manipulated or artificially generated sexual imagery.
- 7. Sexual exploitation and illegal material: Any content or conduct involving child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual coercion, trafficking, exploitation of vulnerable people, or any other unlawful sexual activity. Content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited, regardless of the age of the person uploading it.
- 8. Circumvention of these rules: Using coded language, misleading descriptions, disguised images, external links or other methods to evade these restrictions or arrange prohibited sexual services or content.
Consent does not override this policy. Even where all participants are adults and consent to the creation or exchange of sexual material, pornographic and sexually explicit content remains prohibited on Bubbles.
Enforcement: Koosk Media Limited reserves the right, subject to applicable law and its moderation procedures, to remove prohibited content, restrict account functionality, suspend accounts or permanently terminate accounts for breaches of this policy. Serious or repeated breaches may result in immediate account termination. Illegal content may be reported to the appropriate authorities where required or appropriate by law.
Users are expected to report suspected violations through the reporting facilities provided within Bubbles or by emailing us at bubbles_support@kooskmedia.com. Users must not attempt to redistribute prohibited material when reporting it.
These restrictions apply to all Bubbles features and are not limited to publicly visible content.
14. Reporting, Blocking and Moderation
Bubbles may provide tools for users to:
- report content;
- report users;
- block users;
- remove or hide certain content;
- contact support;
- request account or data assistance.
We may review reports and take action where we consider it appropriate, including:
- removing content;
- limiting visibility of content;
- warning users;
- restricting features;
- suspending or banning accounts;
- disabling groups or public posts;
- preserving relevant information for legal, safety, fraud, or moderation reasons;
- reporting serious matters to relevant authorities where legally required or appropriate.
We are not required to monitor all content before it appears, but we may moderate content, accounts, groups, messages, and public areas to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and maintain the safety and integrity of Bubbles.
Users should report content or behaviour that appears unsafe, abusive, illegal, fraudulent, exploitative, or in breach of these Terms.
Groups are run by their own members: a group's owner and admins can remove posts, approve or refuse requests to join, and remove or ban members of that group. We may also act on a group as described above.
15. Safety and User Interactions
Users are responsible for their own interactions with others.
Bubbles may provide safety features such as reporting, blocking, moderation, privacy settings, and guidance, but we cannot guarantee the conduct, identity, intentions, accuracy, or behaviour of any user.
You should be careful when:
- communicating with someone you do not know;
- sharing personal information;
- sending images, videos, or links;
- arranging to meet someone;
- transferring money or discussing financial matters;
- opening external links.
You should not send money to other users or share financial details with people you do not know.
If you feel unsafe or believe there is an emergency, contact the relevant emergency services immediately.
16. Subscriptions, Payments and Paid Features
Some features of Bubbles require a paid subscription. Bubbles offers a single subscription, Bubbles Premium, which renews automatically.
Who bills you. In the iPhone app you buy the subscription from Apple, through the App Store. In the Android app you buy it from Google, through Google Play. Apple or Google takes your payment and bills you under its own terms. A subscription billed by card through our payment provider, Stripe, is billed by Stripe and is also subject to Stripe's terms. We never see or store your full card details.
Price. In the UK the subscription costs £9.99 a month. In other countries the App Store or Google Play sets the price in your local currency, and a subscription billed through Stripe is charged in pounds sterling. Before you buy, you will be shown the price, the billing period, any free trial, and what the subscription includes.
Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 3 months), with full subscriber access for the length of the trial. Only one free trial is available per person, however you subscribe: if you have had a Bubbles subscription or free trial before, through the App Store, Google Play or Stripe, you will not be offered another. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged when the trial ends.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and you are charged for the next period, until you cancel. The App Store may charge for the next period up to 24 hours before the current one ends, so cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a period to avoid the next charge.
Cancelling. Cancelling stops future renewals. A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play can only be cancelled in your Apple account's subscription settings or your Google Play subscription settings, and you normally keep access until the end of the current billing period or trial. A subscription billed through Stripe can be cancelled in the app (on Android, through the billing portal), or by emailing us at bubbles_support@kooskmedia.com.
Refunds. Refunds for a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, so please ask them. For a subscription billed through Stripe, contact us at bubbles_support@kooskmedia.com. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
Deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels a subscription billed through Stripe. It does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings, or it will keep renewing.
We may change subscription features or pricing in the future, subject to applicable law and any notice requirements.
17. Intellectual Property
Bubbles, including our name, branding, logos, icons, designs, software, features, layouts, code, databases, text, graphics, and other materials, belongs to us or our licensors.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse any part of Bubbles unless we have given written permission or the law allows it.
You may not use our branding, logos, name, screenshots, or other materials for commercial purposes without permission.
18. Copyright and Rights Complaints
If you believe content on Bubbles infringes your copyright, trade mark, privacy rights, image rights, or other legal rights, you may contact us using the contact details below.
Your notice should include enough information for us to identify the content, understand the issue, and contact you.
We may remove or restrict content where appropriate.
19. Account Deactivation and Deletion
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time from the app settings.
Deactivating your account pauses it: your profile is hidden from other users, but your data is kept intact so you can return. When you next sign in, you will be offered the option to reactivate your account. Pausing does not cancel or pause a subscription: it keeps renewing until you cancel it (see section 16). While your account is paused you cannot message, call, like or send friend requests, and other members cannot message, call, like or send friend requests to you; your posts in groups you belong to stay visible to those groups' members.
Deleting your account is permanent. We remove your profile, your photos and videos, your posts, comments and reactions (together with other people's comments and reactions on your posts), your group-chat messages, the events you created, and every private conversation you were part of — including the other person's messages, voice notes and attachments in it, which are removed for them as well. A group you own passes to its longest-standing admin or member if it has one, and is deleted with its content if it has none. A subscription billed through Stripe is cancelled. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play: cancel it in your Apple or Google Play subscription settings (see section 16). If you are unable to access your account, contact us and we will process the deletion manually.
Some limited records are kept after deletion: reports you made, without your name; a group's admin log, without your identity; a group you handed on, with the name and description you gave it; and the payment records our payment providers must keep by law. Other records may be kept where we are required to keep them by law, or where they are needed for safety, fraud-prevention, moderation, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
20. Data Retention
We retain user data only for as long as needed for the purposes explained in our Privacy Policy, including:
- operating Bubbles;
- maintaining accounts and services;
- providing subscriptions and support;
- complying with legal duties;
- resolving disputes;
- enforcing these Terms;
- preventing fraud, misuse, or harm;
- maintaining safety and moderation records.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data and the reason it is held.
21. App Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Bubbles available and working, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.
We may update, suspend, restrict, replace, or remove features at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal, technical, commercial, or operational reasons. We may require you to install an update before you can continue to use the app.
We are not responsible for failures caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, app store issues, device issues, third-party service failures, payment provider failures, hosting problems, or force majeure events.
22. Third-Party Services and Technical Providers
Bubbles may use third-party service providers to help operate the app, such as hosting, cloud storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, email delivery, app testing, security, customer support, or database services.
These providers are used to help us run Bubbles. They are not given permission to use user data for their own independent purposes unless explained in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
Where relevant, these providers may process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual, security, or data protection arrangements.
More information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
23. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bubbles is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We are not responsible for:
- user behaviour or user-generated content;
- loss caused by another user;
- content posted, shared, or linked by users;
- third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services;
- loss caused by your failure to keep your account secure;
- loss of data where you have not kept your own copy;
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses;
- loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings;
- service interruption, bugs, errors, or device compatibility issues.
If we are liable to you, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid to use Bubbles in the 12 months before the issue arose, unless the law does not allow that limit.
24. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that arise from:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse of Bubbles;
- your content;
- your infringement of another person's rights;
- your unlawful behaviour;
- your interaction with other users or third-party services.
This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as through the app, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date.
If you continue to use Bubbles after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using Bubbles and may request account deletion.
27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
28. Language and Translations
These Terms and our other legal documents are written in English. Translations may be provided in the app for your convenience only.
If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and a translated version of these Terms or any other Bubbles legal document, the English version prevails and governs your agreement with us.
